Add sandbox section showing how to push a transaction with the sandbox environment #111
Comments
@Garitta, ***@***.***> for viz.
Hey, Karl!
Can I get a little more background and context here? What’s the operation and why is this unique to sandbox?
Thanks!
~Jon

Subject: [MicrosoftDocs/Advertising] Add sandbox section showing how to push a transaction with the sandbox environment (Issue #111)
Hi! I don't see any samples to do this operation for the sandbox environment. I've tried to call https://partner.api.sandbox.bingads.microsoft.com<https://partner.api.sandbox.bingads.microsoft.com/>, but end up with a 404. Is it possible to supply a section showing how to push a transaction with the sandbox environment?

Hey Jon! Certainly! You let me know if this is more of a support case. I want to be able to test the functionality of pushing hotel rates before I release the functionality to production. I've created a sandbox account. The full URL with customer id looks like this: https://partner.api.sandbox.bingads.microsoft.com/api/customers/319436062/transactions I make a POST call to this URL, but ends up returning a 404 status code. Does the sandbox push transactions? Is it better to test this in a live environment? |
Hey, Karl!
My team only supports the API documentation. This sounds more like an UI engineering issue. @***@***.***> - Would you know where to direct Karl?
@Garitta, ***@***.***> for viz.
Thanks!
