Research

General Idea

As we right now don't know exactly, who and what the edge metrics are used for. We want to research the use cases and flaws.

Truc had the following insides:

  1. Not all parsers are generating edge metrics
  2. It is mostly used to identify hotspots
  3. Edges are not really used, most of the time we use structure101 for a dependency analysis
  4. Function to only show incoming or outgoing arrows is missing
  5. Preview is distracting
  6. It's great to color arrows/edges
  7. Seeing top 10 would be great
  8. Tooltips would be great to understand settings
