As soon as the sea ice fraction from the forcing data set (GFS, ECMWF, etc...) is larger than zero, the seaice flag is set to one in the
"physics_init_seaice" subroutine in line 702. From my visual impression, this seems too low so maybe a value of 0.05 is more appropriate?
