Questions about « Possible matching paths » field

On the Service configuration page, I have some questions about champ « Possible matching paths » field:

1. is it possible to use regular expression on this field?
2. matching paths are based on « Matching Root » or « Domain »?
3. if I add some « Matching root », is it mandatory to fill « Matching root »?

Hi Boris,

1. No this field doesn't support regexp.
2. Matching root is just another matching paths. In the future (already visible by unchecking the legacy domain), the exposed domain part will be removed from the UI and the API.
3. if I add some « Matching root », is it mandatory to fill « Matching paths » ? No, it's not mandatory.

For example, on the first capture, you have a domain exposed using the legacy method, and in the second, the new and future way. In this example, the matched routes will be :

• myservice.oto.tools/first
• myservice.oto.tools/second
• replica.oto.tools/first
• replica.oto.tools/second
