I installed the Unreal editor plugin as described but when I launch the editor, I am not sure how to run the game so as to play the first level. I try hitting the run\play button but that does not launch into VR mode. How do I play the first level with the Vive?

The editor is more difficult to set up and has some known problems, if you just want to play the game you should buy the full game.

i'm willing to buy this IF mods work perfectly fine on the full version without crashing.. i mainly want to make my own mods for this.. can anyone confirm mods work fine assuming you have the full version installed?

@Armada651 - I really just want to try it first to make sure I like it before I give Oculus my money

@simonhughes22 I understand that, but the editor wasn't intended as a demo version.

to get the editor to work make sure you are loading RoboRecall.uproject which is in Epic Games\RoboRecallModKit\RoboRecall then just hit the play button it should start up in VR assuming you copied over the zip contents to the right place

Thanks. I found the launch in VR mode so that worked, but could not get past the teleportation bit so I just bought the game, which works great.

For others, try the unreal tournament map if you can't get pointers to get past the hub. It is in a dedicated folder and called DM-Chill. Move the joysticks left and right a few times to get past the first screen.
