Currently, Maaku's support for rendering to NSAttributedString is limited and does not fully support rendering an entire markdown document. The current implementation is meant more as a means of working together with TexturedMaaku. Some markdown elements may be difficult to support with NSAttributedString, especially in respect to gfm extensions like tables when it comes to iOS. Even so, the current NSAttributedString support can be improved over what it is now.
