  • The stiffness matrix for the CrBeamElementLinear3D2N element is calculated taking into account only the material part of the stiffness matrix.

  • The stiffness matrix for the CrBeamElementLinear2D2N element instead is calculated using the geo-part, material-part and corotational part.

I would expect however that these elements have similar stiffness matrices
