Currently the logger prints out some random names. It is not clear what is failing and what is running. Can we also print just the func field of the Task ?

That's sounds useful in some cases. Would probably be best to make it into some kind of optional extended logging through a config setting. I'd welcome a PR for something along those lines.

For now I am simply adding a debug log with function info.
