I'm using R version is 3.5.1 in the Atom 1.34.0, 64bit editor with hydrogen 2.7.0, and JuniperKernel1.4.1.0. Kernel execution is halted, and no other code can be run when I try to load the tidyverse 1.2.1 package. I can load purr and dplyr solo, but not tidyverse. The error does not occur with other packages. This same error does not occur when I use the IRKernel 0.8.15 in conjunction with Atom and hydrogen. This leads me to believe the juniper kernel is the problem. No other error is thrown and there were no R warnings.

Oh that’s interesting. Atom acts as a client I take it? This may be fixed already in master, and i may need to update the CRAN build.

What OS btw?
Also a screenshot would be handy if you can get one + any logs

Atom and hydrogen just connect to any available kernel. Windows 10....no error log report...just fails.
