From the documentation I don't think so on the first 2 points.
It seemed that doing on alpine was the proof of concept for InitWare, but not as a proof of concept for the a distro using InitWare.

I've been watching this repository for a while...

Very little activity.

I was hoping to try it on FreeBSD, but since I saw so little I decided to wait until this project became more active.

But I don't know the real answer...
