Create library for programatically exporting and importing ISA-TAB archives

We have a database and a web-application with some data and we want users to be able to download/upload our data as an ISA-TAB archive.

For the conversion we wanted to use ISACreator.
However ISACreator has many dependencies that collide with our internal web-application dependencies (Currently we have exclusions rules in our pom file to exclude those dependencies).
It would be really useful if the part for creating an ISA-TAB archive would be extracted from the ISACreator into a separate library for programatically exporting/importing ISA-TAB archives.
