Hey there, thanks for making Weylus. I tried to use it today on my tablet, however it seems that Weylus' capture list is partial and does not capture all of the relevant windows. At least not the most relevant for me, which was Xournal++. Everything seems to be running fine, e.g. I seem to have the websocket port open, I can select and see my Firefox displayed on the tablet, I can use it to draw on Kolourpaint. But that is also the issue, that for some reason Xournall++ does not appear on the drop down menu of the capture list. Do you have any clues for me? My OS is of course linux-based Ubuntu.

Thanks in advance

Did you refresh the list after opening xournal? There's a button on the settings widget on your tablet. Did you try with having xournal as the single open window?

Hey. I verified that the list refreshes by having other programs show up on the list. I use firefox for my use case, so I cannot report its behaviour with a single open window. But I can get back to you on that in respect of your avatar's color pattern :)

Thanks :)
Yes "single window" is not really helpful as the weylus gui itself is also a window. But you have seen other windows in that list appear, so we have to look further for a solution. Is your desktop running wayland or Xorg?

Hello. Was there any update or fix for this issue? I am trying to use Weylus with xournal as well. I have a fine connection between my laptop and tablet, but the xjournal window that is on my laptop is not an option for Weylus. I have refreshed the list and rebooted. I am running on a Tab s7 and my laptop is running Fedora 39.

Hello I have found a fix that worked for me. I needed to enable Wayland Support on the Weylus gui. Now it works perfectly.
