This is still relevant and should be done, though I can no longer personally reopen issues here.

Or if the project is dead follow the documented procedure for archiving it rather than individually closing all the bugs.

We are trying to winnow down the list of issues, so that instead of a large pile we won't get to, we are looking at a smaller, more achievable pile.
