Background Information

One of the requirements for memo M-21-31 is to ensure that the log information at the EL3 tier is being collected within 2 years from the memo date (08/27/2021).

Logging information that needs to be collected to meet the EL3 tier requirements are:

• Meeting EL2 maturity level
• Advanced Logging Categories
• Logging Orchestration, Automation, and Response – Finalizing Implementation
• User Behavior Monitoring – Finalizing Implementation
• Application Container Security, Operations, and Management
• Advanced Centralized Access
