Blurb:
Outreachy provides internships in open source and open science. Outreachy provides internships to people subject to systemic bias and impacted by underrepresentation in the technical industry where they are living.

Outreachy internships are:

💵 Paid - $7,000 USD total internship stipend

🌍 Remote - both interns and mentors work remotely

🕰 3 months - internships run May to August, or December to March
Work on Open Source and Open Science

Outreachy has internship projects in both open source and open science. Outreachy internship projects may include programming, research, user experience, documentation, graphical design, data science, marketing, user advocacy, event planning, and more!

I'd love for FreeCAD to work with Outreachy. Not that much for the money but for the permeability of non-white-male people.

Maybe the FPA could also donate to Outreachy? To help them bring people into FreeCAD?

By its statuses the FPA must direct all of its resources to FreeCAD or to promote an ecosystem around FreeCAD, so it cannot just donate to any project. But in this case I think helping Outreachy to help FreeCAD to achieve better diversity is totally valid...
