1. Pitch oscillation severe at IAS over 220 Kts at climb above FL100, cruise or desent.Does not respond to changes in speed, load distribution, VS adjustments, flaps, and aircraft very hard to control by hand. Also, auto-throttle oscillates as much as 40% up and down with the pitching as engines try to compensate. At cruise, aircraft does not hold speed and struggles to hold altitude. Attempts listed above to resolve the problem resulted in aircraft becoming uncontrollable and: 2. Complete AP failure could not recover aircraft and it crashed into ocean..

Note: TO IAS=220Kts. VS=2000 fpm; At 5000 ft in IAS to 250 Kts. At FL100 inc to 300 Kts. Oscillation begins immediately at this speed. IAS drops to ~240 Kts while aircraft struggles to climb.
