Azure Blob Storage As a source to publish on Geoportal

Hi,
We have a business requirement as below,

1. Use Azure blob storage as a source to publish data on Geoportal
2. Need to relate some additional non spatial data like video, files etc with metadata

I really required help to resolve these.

hi, I encourage you to switch to Geoportal Server 2.x. This 1.x version will only see critical updates. Geoportal Server 2.x uses elasticsearch for its metadata storage and indexing. Elastic is available on Azure. We have not tested that ourselves though.
