The following features might help improving the seeding capabilities:

add a helper function to generate add a header image to an entity
trigger an event about a seeded entity so other plugins might add additional information to this entity when seeded (likes, annotations for a version history of a page, or comments)
allow automatic seeding into group containers if groups is enabled an a tool option is enabled
support for trashed items?
