Hi everybody,

i am using the nightly build version EMsoft-5.0.20230327.-Win64. The indexing for a single-phase system works really fine, the refinement of the data is amazing! (see Image: Single-phase)

single-phase indexing

Also when applying it to two phases, both are indexed as expected. The sample here is an Au film on top of a ZnO-Wafer (exposed ZnO in the triangles).

multiple phases

When i now want to use EMdpmerge and/or EMdpextract, i get the following error messages:

Error_message_EMdpmerge

Error_message_EMdpextract

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Thank you all in advance for any ideas or comments

Hi Marc,

thank you for the fast response!
Where do you see the error message which says that the DI file is not found?
Here it says that it found 2 dot product file names, but when reading the data it fails

no it is EBSD data. The dot product files were made via EMEBSDDI.
