Arch link (steam OS ) cc not found error #414

Issue on steam os (arch based) that with yay -S evdi-git and a direct clone it errors with error 127 cc not found
Latest git clone
Device i want to use Dell D6000 but cant due to evdi not beeing installed
on DisplayLink's website?
