Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Wilrik came up with the idea to think of a system which can inform stakeholders / teammembers and other people who are interested when there is a release (or some other update). This needs some more research.

Describe the solution you'd like
Research if a feature like this belongs in our system and how we can implement it.

I think an automated release 'news-letter' style would be a good option for this. The email system is already set up, all that needs to be done is a small console application or something that checks the Github API for new releases.
If there's a new release -> Grab changelog and schedule emails.
