I want to use the GetPivotPoints(windowSize, pointType) method, but the PeriodSize.FourHours is not expected by the method.

Investigate: what would it take to enable all PeriodSize options?
Consider a generic TimeSpan overload.

Defining a static start point, to preclude repainting, will be the challenge here.
