I wonder is there any plan to introduce formatter & linter to this project? (eg. mypy, black, flake8)
We could build the precommit tool / CI process with them to ensure the code quality and consistency.

We would like to, but it has not been prioritized. If you're willing to contribute this, we'd certainly welcome it.
