Objective

To design and implement a banner on the UIPA.org website that informs visitors the site is currently under development.

There are currently users using the UIPA.org site right now - we need to inform them that the portal they are currently using might change (feature - UI/UX wise, or both). It might be nice to take this opportunity to solicit feedback from the public on this project, gathering ideas for things they want to see/improvements to be made, ...etc.

Tasks

  • Create some sort of announcement notifying users that things may change
  • Create a Discussion Post under this repository for soliciting feedback.
    • Outline how to give feedback, and the type of feedback we want
  • Implement and deploy said banner on the live site with a link to the announcement and or the discussion post (might be the same thing)

Success Criteria

A banner is implemented on the website.

As a note, this task should target the master branch (as that is the branch that currently being used for the website). After the banner is implemented, it will be a separate exercise to figure out the how of getting that banner the show up live on uipa.org 😆
