Exiting Overview mode after scrolling in overview will sometimes have a jerky animation

I believe there is an edge case around how (or when) the horiz_transformpoint is calculated that causes the view to stutter slightly when zooming back into the ribbon from overview mode.

Seems to happen most often after scrolling or interacting with patches while in overview mode, but is otherwise hard to capture / reproduce.
