Hi,

I am wondering if SDN4CoRE has support for multipart messages as stated in the OpenFlow specification.
In particular, individual flow and port statistics?

Thanks,

Hi,

THaeckel is the best to answer your question and is currently in vacation. He will be back in two weeks.

Hello franc444,
SDN4CoRE uses the OpenFlow Framework for the OpenFlow protocol implementation. Sadly, it does not yet support multipart messages.
Regards,
Timo

@THaeckel,
Thanks for your reply.
Will you consider supporting multipart messages in the future?

We are currently focusing our development efforts on combining SDN and TSN features and TSN programmability. When we work again on extending the OpenFlow framework, we will consider adding multipart messages, so I mark this as an enhancement.
