How to add additional functionality on the export button in react-excel-workbook

I have a requirement of adding extra functionality on export button click. If i am adding click event on the button then i have to double click on the export button in order to first fetch the data to be shown on the excel and on second click the excel is downloaded.

And i want to perform both the operations in a single click. Please provide the solution on this issue.
