Chisel causing massive slowdown

The 1.11.2 version (0.1.1.31) is causing massive lag on both servers and singleplayer. It might be because of my lack of an actual graphics card (also responsible for my Optifine crashes), but I wanna get a 2nd/3rd/400th opinion, since I've used plenty of other sizeable mods before with no or minimal problems.
