I think @wmeints already did some work for this which is still on a branch. But I think it would be nice to have user accounts.

With this we can do a number of awesome things:

Set an event as your favorite #90 (set event as favorite so you will get notified when a CFP is opened)
Send a newsletter on some interval
Mark a CFP as submitted so you don't have to see it over and over again
Have stats on who submitted what, etc.

Not sure if I want to make an account mandatory whenever you want to submit a CFP though. Thoughts on that anyone?

Ah, I see there was already #56 for this as well! Whether it's social or local accounts I don't really care.
