Summary

move cursor with active window

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen

add an option to automatically move the cursor when:

a new window is being opened to that window
focus is changed to another window to the window that is now receiving focus
the focused window is moved via keyboard to the window's new position
this is a feature in many tiling WMs, it is very useful when combined with hover-controlled focus
