What happened?

When i add playback devices they seems to show up in the notification area in the order i add them and not in the order i have in the settings/playback.

Here is the order when i click on the icon in the notification area:

Here is the order from settings/playback:

It would have been nice if i (the user) could choose my own device order.

I always want my primary device at the top.

It seems that when my monitor goes to sleep it will sometimes lose the playback device and if i do that the device will be at the bottom instead at the top when i re-add the device.

I then have to fiddling around to move the device to the top again 😥

Step to reproduce

If I unselect VG248 (NVIDIA High Definition Audio), close and reopen settings the order in settings/playback is the same, but the order in the icon has been changed:

Version

6.7.2

What version of Windows are you seeing the problem on?
