Problem with initial call out from app - first call always fails. second and subsequent succeed #927

Scenario:

App is opened for the first time: first call always fails
Second call in same session goes through
If app is closed and re-opened, same scenario repeats (i.e. we can reproduce this)

We have uploaded the logs for both events.

Please let me know if there's any other information we can provide that might be helpful. We're also happy to help troubleshoot.
