my psp 's light does not turn off !!!

im using psp verision 6.39 and a cfw 6.39prob9 

Please provide any additional information below.

its is working alright but after i switch it off an orange light which glows on 
charging keeps glowing and drains the battery waht should i do??

Is your charging cable attached?
Also, please try disabling all your plugins.

no my charging cable is not attached and aall plugins are disabled .........but 
after switcching off the orange light (the light turned on durin charging ) 
still remains on and it drains the battery

Does this happen in OFW? If it does happen in OFW then it's not a CFW issue.
