In accordance to general Python 2.7 series deprecation guidance, Batch Shipyard will be ending support for Python 2.7 no later than January 1st 2020. Support for Python 2.7 may end earlier if deemed necessary for development.

If you cannot install a Python 3 interpreter (3.5+) for an installation via pip, then the recommended path forward is to use the pre-built binary or Docker image.
