Widget gets locked on wrong episode

Description

The widget sometimes gets "stuck" on an episode and no longer syncs with the app. The episode number shown on the widget is different from the episode shown in the app. If you start playing from the widget in this situation, it forces the app to play the episode the widget is stuck on rather than the episode that was last being played by the app. Force-quitting the app does not fix this, only rebooting the phone.

I don't know how to reproduce it, but it happens fairly frequently.

You can see the widget disagreeing with the app. If I hit play in the app, the widget will fail to show the currently playing episode, just the one it's stuck on.
