e2e test for logging data to database? #976

Our current tests do not catch if data is correctly logged to the database, i.e.,

is a participant created as expected when starting an experiment, with or without the participant_id parameter?
for every result/score callback, is a result actually logged to the database? Does it contain the data that we would expect based on the rules file?
