Basically I couldn't find a good example of how to implement page to page transitions- preferably with css 3.

We're working on improving this here – AmpersandJS/ampersand-view-switcher#5 and AmpersandJS/ampersand-view-switcher#2 (comment)
CSS3 Transitions events are currently not consistent, therefore it's hard to make it work reliably across all browsers.
