File .PDF downloaded on desktop need to be refreshet "F5" to be viewed #174
Comments
This looks more like an issue with the operating system you are currently using |
Sorry, tested with Windwos 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro different computers, same issue! |
I did not encounter this problem when using Thorium to download the files with these suffixes you mentioned. If possible, I suggest you send the download address of the problematic files so that I can test it. |
I'm facing the exact same problem. .pdf files when downloaded through Thorium to any location (primarily to Desktop, but also for example in Documents or any other folder) do NOT appear on the Desktop (or in Downloads) automatically but need a refresh (F5) to appear. I thought that this was a Win11 problem but it definitely isn't, this is Thorium. The file is there, but it needs a refresh to be shown. Eg. if I download a file to Desktop and then open File Explorer, I can see it's there but it's not shown in Desktop unless F5 is pressed. I've tried the same .pdf files with both Chrome and Brave in the exact same PC and it instantly appears on the Desktop without F5, so this is Thorium. Tried to toggle all available options in the "Download" options but nothing changes. |
