1.18.2, TNP limitless 5. See attached log for full call stack, I can also upload to crashy if that would help.

Upon using item, player starts looking downwards towards the ground, then the pack crashes. See attached report.

Try editing the last option in the config-client.toml file to read this:
"Use GUIs" = true

I had the same issue. Disable this option fixed the issue.
