APSIM Cowpea or equivalent

Hi All,

I am interested to do simulations of cowpea biomass and yield and we would also want to incorporate the DCaPST model (currently in Classic) to simulate canopy photosynthesis and aboveground biomass growth.

This is for a project that I am developing to test photosynthetic bioengineering effect on cowpea growth and yield.

I would like to seek suggestions/feedback from this community to see what modelling possibilities/alternatives might there be.

Perhaps initially this could start with adapting a more recently developed legume model + DCaPST to do biomass growth simulation.
Suggestions are welcomed.

I would assume all Legume models are fundamentally similar:
