Apsim 7.10 Yield problem of 1:1 combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizers #2211
Comments
All the components of fertiliser are "translated" into no3, nh4 and urea by the fertiliser module, and added to soil N pools Many apsim crops can't utilise nh4 & urea until it is transformed to NO3; the process of which is influenced by water and temperature. Details are here |
Does water and temperature in APSIM affect the decomposition rate of organic matter? |
Water & temperature are dynamic - changing the state of the system every day You'll require sensible parameterisation of your water balance, and accurate climate data. |
Thank you very much! |
Can you tell us about irrigation regime? |
No irrigation, no farming |
The yield of Apsim organic fertilizer (c/n=8, c/p=50) fertilizer (urea) 1:1 combined with different nitrogen application amounts (in terms of pure nitrogen) was lower than that of chemical fertilizer alone. This is contrary to the results of field experiments in which the yield of organic and inorganic combined application is higher than that of single application? What is the reason for this?
