Graphics Library for the IoD-09TH and IoD-09SM by 4D Systems

The ESP8266 Core is required to be installed for WiFi functionality of the IoD-09 Range.

This GFX4dIoD9 library provides the graphical aspects to the IoD-09.

Installing of the ESP8266 Core with Boards Manager - NOTE Not Maintained by 4D Systems

Arduino allows installation of third-party platform packages using Boards Manager. There are packages available for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux (32 and 64 bit).

  • Install Arduino 1.6.8 or higher from the Arduino website.
  • Start Arduino and open Preferences window.
  • Enter http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json into Additional Board Manager URLs field. You can add multiple URLs, separating them with commas.
  • Open Boards Manager from Tools > Board menu and install esp8266 platform (and don't forget to select your ESP8266 board from Tools > Board menu after installation).
  • Please refer to the IoD-09 Datasheet for the next steps on how to install the IoD-09 Board into this core

Installation of this GFX4dIoD9 Library

Library folder should be placed in the C:\Users\(User name)\My Documents\Arduino\Libraries\ folder, or equivalent. (restart the IDE if already open).
