We do use a library that's lightweight chart.js (Thanks for finding @soulmutbuttas).
However it seems within core there is no default candlestick. There seems to be something called a "floating bar chart" but I don't think that suites our needs.
That being said i've found an external chart.js plugin that the community is adopting as the need for financial charting has increased in the past year (go figure).
