As a workaround one could parse the PR description, the commit messages and the PR events to extract the list of linked issues, but that is quite brittle.

Our pull request template encourages users to link all pull requests to issues, which we spend quite some time labeling and triaging.
So it would be great if this action could be used to transfer labels from the linked issues to the pull request itself.
This would probably require that linked issues are exposed by the GitHub API, which does not seem to be the case currently: https://github.community/t/get-all-issues-linked-to-a-pull-request/14653/8
