Is 12.7.x development or new stable? Is odd-even version scheme still in place? #373
Comments
I confirm that odd and even version numbers no longer reflect development or stable versions for sysstat. |
Old homepage is no longer being updated and will be taken down soon. Let's switch to git, as the new homepage is still being set up. Upstream has confirmed that odd-even version scheme is no longer in place: sysstat/sysstat#373 (From OE-Core rev: 8fd7b1b0d93a495a68206a4737db24b187d8c3f4) Signed-off-by: Alexander Kanavin <alex@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

Can the home page, README and references to "stable" be updated elsewere to reflect this? I just discovered this by chance. Thanks! |
The old homepage does say that 12.7.x is a development serie, and stable 12.6.x is stable one, but the new home page does not. So has the policy changed? Which version should be taken for distribution packaging?
