Audio announce if svxlink client is not connect to svxreflector server

We often use Svxlink on hotspots outside the home and in places where there is little internet access and the client disconnects from the server because there is no internet..
Would it be possible to implement an activated function that sends an announcement when the connection is lost and restored? or at least that when you connect to the radio link a roger beep with a different sound indicates that you have not transited the network.
