For those of you that does not use the discussion forum:
I have noticed a disturbing trend that people have started to increasingly use the issue tracker on GitHub as a discussion forum. This is not what it's for. The issue tracker is for reporting issues, bugreports and feature requests.
The official way to get in contact with the SvxLink community is through the discussion forum at groups.io. If you're not sure you have found a bug or unsure if a feature already exist or not, first make a post in the discussion forum before opening an issue. Also add a link to the discussion thread when opening an issue.

The old mailing lists at SourceForge should not be used anymore but may be a source for finding the solution for common problems by searching the archives.
