When starting the desktop app either with the desktop icon, or with directly running simplex.exe in the instalaltion directory, I get an error message that says "Failed to launch JVM", and the desktop app does not start.
The desktop app does not produce log output, even when started from the terminal, and I don't know where it places them. %APPDATA%\SimpleX\ does not contain log files.
I have did some testing, but wasn't able to start the desktop app.
I have uninstalled it using the uninstaller in the control panel's programs and files menu.
Then I have installed the same version with the same installer, but now with the default settings, so it was installed to drive C now.
Starting the app results in the same error message.
I also tried to start the app manually from the command line, with the JAVA_HOME environment variable set to a copy of the AdoptOpenJDK's JRE 16, but it results in the same.
Is there any parameter or an entry in a setting file I could use to make it emit some logs about the issue?
Is there an existing issue for this?
