You could presumably write a script that applies a storage path which would effectively move the file (or a workflow eg if you add a tag or something like that), but there isn’t anything exactly time-based like this built in. There are some related feature requests to expand with workflows feature to cover something like this but I’m not aware that anyone is working on that at the moment (in other words, I think not) |

Hello,
I've only been using paperless ngx for a few weeks. I'm looking for a way to automatically move documents to another location when they reach a certain age (for example five years). For example, when a document becomes five years old, it should be automatically moved from the subdirectory within my documents to another archive directory. Is there a way to do such automation? Is there already an existing function for this? Or can something like this be set up with a script? As a newbie, I would be grateful for any help. Best regards, Daniel
