I used to use the default independent TPE and it works quite well with parallel run. After reading the tech blog and documentation, I learned about multivariate TPE, I feel it may help to better optimize my problem. But after I ran the TPE with multivariate option on, I keep receiving the independent sampling warning " The parameter 'A1' in trial#XXX is sampled independently instead of being sampled by multivariate TPE sampler. (optimization performance may be degraded)." and I did notice the TPE performance not as good as my benchmark result test with the independent TPE. May I ask for help in 1. understanding why I receive such warning with my setup and 2. if I can adjust my TPE setting (eg. turn off constant_liar or turn on group??) to improve the performance of multivariate TPE? Thanks a lot!

Hi, optuna community members and developers, I am working on an optimization problem like this:
